The US Team minus their dependable anchor, Beezie Madden, won Silver today in Team Jumping.  Beezie’s horse Cortes was injured and could not continue. That meant there would be no drop score so Kent, Lucy and McLain had to deliver…  and they did!  Only 2 penalties separated Gold and Silver in the final tally.

The hardluck French – after losing their top ranked horse/rider combination the day before the Games even began – rose to the top of the leaderboard in the end. Roger Yves Bost secured the Gold with a pressure packed clear round.  Germany won the jump off with Canada to take home Bronze.

Friday we move on to the Individual Jumping with the top 35 qualified riders.  Everyone starts on zero faults.  Two rounds over even bigger courses will decide Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
