Kent Farrington and Creedance
Central Park in September is a glorious place to be… especially for a horse show on a warm and sunny day. That’s what last Friday brought to the fans of show jumping along with an exhilarating jump off won by Kent Farrington and his diminutive but fiery mount, Creedance.
Katharine and Melanie
I was able to see many old friends and meet up with Katharine Burdsall Heller to watch the class and catch up. Katharine rode with me in the early 80’s then went on to be a star in her own right, winning the World Cup Finals with The Natural in 1987 as well as many other accolades.
Although my fellow commentator Randy Moss and I did “on-cameras” to introduce the show, the competition was taped in order to be edited down to a 1 and 1/2 hour show that we voiced the next day. It can all be seen tonight, September 26 at 7:30 EST on NBCSN.
